Thursday, December 18th: Elf

Doors open at 6:30 pm and movies will start at 7 pm. All ages welcome.

Speaking of movies… Granville Street is no stranger to the cinema scene.

Earlier this month, Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan was spotted on Granville Street filming “The 9th Life of Louis Drax”. In the new thriller film set to hit theatres in 2015, Dornan plays a psychologist who finds himself in the middle of a mystery that tests the boundaries between fantasy and reality.

Granville Street has been the stage for many box office and TV hits over the years including CW’s The Flash and Arrow. Amanda Bynes can be spotted in the 2006 movie She’s the Man strolling Granville near the Lennox Pub.

Twihards, pay attention during Edward’s flashback scenes in Twilight: Breaking Dawn as you may see a sneak peak of the Orpheum Theatre interior.

Be sure to check out your Christmas favourites at the Vogue December 16th, 17th, and 18th, and keep your eyes peeled – you might catch a glimpse of movie magic along the way.
