Every so often, Granville Street turns into a pedestrian zone with local artisans and interactive booths to line the street. Some of these street festivals may include international food, live dancing, or sports such as skateboarding, ping pong, or ballroom dancing.
It's easy to get anywhere from Granville Street. Considered the "spine" of Vancouver's excellent transit suste, the Canadaline, Expo Line, and the Millennium line Skytrain stations all have stops on Granville Street.
